Are horse pellets better for a growing horse than sweet feed?
I have a three year old and I want to make sure she’s getting all she needs. She is a working horse and apparently still growing. She get’s 1 coffee can of 10% sweet feed a day. she looks really healthy, but IS she getting everything she needs? She has an unlimited supply of coastal. She weighs about 700-750 lb. How much feed should she get. I’m thinking about changing her to a 10% pellet.
